Fishing
Sea fishermen have a choice between fishing
from the rocks or from the beach at the Wilderness. Kob, or
kabeljou, may be caught in the surf from the beach using a
long cast. Excellent eating, the Kob takes most bait and can
grow to 30Kg. Blacktail, or Dassies, are found in the rough
water in the rocky gullies, as are Galjoen. Elf (known as
shad in Kwa-Zulu Natal) will take both live bait and
spinners.
